We also offer a range of bespoke services including training events, interventions, projects, evaluation, research and enhanced service commissions.
We also offer centrally organised training courses typically two or three times a year, depending on its demand. You can find out more and book a place on our training courses by visiting CPD Online
We provide statutory services for the Local Authority. This includes psychological advice provided as part of a statutory assessment process, consultation at Local Inclusion Forum Teams (LIFTS) and crisis support for schools. Statutory functions are not charged, they are paid for directly by the Local Authority.
Access the Educational Psychology Service
Requests for psychological advice as part of the statutory assessment process are made via the Special Educational Needs service.
Involvement of an Educational Psychologist would normally come from the child's school, following a consultation with the parents or carer.
A consultation request form is completed at a meeting with the parent or carer and appropriate professionals, which is signed by the parent or carer and school representative.
