Traineeship programmes are aimed at 16-23 year olds, and young people with learning difficulties up to the academic age of 25, to prepare them for their future career.
Traineeships improve young people's chances of getting an apprenticeship or job by making sure they have the skills and experience for employment.
The programme focuses on helping young people through:
- gaining work experience
- work preparation training
- improving maths and English skills.
