Early Years and Childcare Service Business Conference

'One peak at a time'.

If you find running a childcare business in a constantly shifting political, economic and social environment a challenge you need to attend The Education People's first ever Early Years and Childcare Business Conference.

The conference will provide you with support and guidance in dealing with this ever-changing landscape and show you how tackling ‘one peak at a time’ rather than taking on the whole mountain will benefit not only your business as a whole, but your own personal resilience.

Providing high quality care to children and families is important but this can only be achieved if the business is in a healthy position and has a clear vision for the future.

The conference will provide an opportunity for you to hear from inspiring keynote speakers, Rebecca Stephens, MBE and Ben Kingston-Hughes, Managing Director, Inspired Children.

Rebecca Stephens

On 17 May 1993, Rebecca was the first British woman to climb Everest. The following year she completed the Seven Summits, the highest mountain on each continent. Each mountain taught her a unique lesson on resilience, communication, or decision making. Rebecca will demonstrate how this is as relevant in people’s working lives as it is at 20,000ft.

Ben Kingston-Hughes

Ben Kingston-Hughes is a national award-winning trainer and Managing Director of Inspired Children. He has worked with children for over 30 years and has twice appeared on television working with vulnerable children. His distinctive blend of humour, neuroscience and real-life practical experiences make his training invaluable for anyone working with children.

Leave with an inspired confidence in managing all aspects of the business by understanding:

  • how to build and grow your childcare business despite constant changes
  • how to identify goals and achieve your long-term vision by having a clear business plan and strategy
  • how to maximise financial security
  • how to maximise the benefits of digital marketing and social media
  • how to communicate, make effective decisions and remain resilient
  • how to develop and make your personal leadership style work for your business.

The conference will offer innovative workshops such as Social Media and Digital Marketing training delivered by Upskill Digital which provide opportunities for reflection and a range of practical tools to implement back at the setting. Details of further business related workshops and how to book will follow in due course.

Delegates will also have an opportunity to visit The Education People stand and get the chance to network with other childcare business professionals.
