Workforce Development and Training
Kent Integrated Children’s Services (Early Help and Preventative Services and Children’s Social Work Services) works closely with Kent Safeguarding Children Board (KSCB) in providing training and development opportunities for partners.
This includes training on the Kent Support Levels Guidance.
The KSCB Safeguarding Training Tree has been designed to reflect the range of the training offer and to make it easy to understand which courses are core learning and a priority for practitioners. Training is available using a variety of methods including e-learning, face-to-face, coaching and mentoring. Details are available from KSCB
EHPS will work with partners in ensuring a clear and consistent approach to providing support for families. Early Help District Managers are developing local network meetings to support partners and develop strong and positive relationships. Details are available locally and will shortly be published on this webpage.
