Power up to recycling 2015/16

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all schools who participated in the Power up To Recycling 2015/16 Challenge. The response to the challenge has been amazing. 107 Kent schools registered for the challenge to collect as many domestic batteries as possible between September 2015 and January 2016.

In total, more than 3 tonnes of batteries were collected for recycling by participating schools!  That’s a lot of batteries and weighs about the same as 4 Rhino’s!

Thank you and well done everyone! We hope you found the challenge fun and educational.

Arranging a collection or requesting a new battery box

The challenge may have ended, but please do continue to recycle your batteries.

When your box is getting full you can arrange a collection by calling Valpak on 08450 682572 and selecting option 3, or complete a collection request form.

If you don't have a battery recycling box and would like one, please contact Valpak on 08450 682572.
