Maidstone United FC PAN-disability and mental health football teams

The Raiders are looking to recruit new players for all their teams.

The Raiders have been established since the 5 April 2004. They have 13 teams including mens, ladies, girls and boys in their junior section - under 7, under 9, under 11, under 13 and under 16.

The junior teams cover 5-16 year olds as larger age banding than mainstream football is used. Players are welcome from 5-55 years old. Adult teams include ability levels from low to high, so they can cater for all levels of player.

They currently have teams playing five-a-side, six-a-side, seven-a-side and eleven-a-side. The teams depend on disability and ability levels.

They are currently playing in the Kent Adult and Junior Disability Football Leagues on Sunday morning’s - 9:30am-1:30pm - tournament style once a month.

Additional friendly, cup games and regional events are available to players.

Training is held at 10am-midday (11:30am finish on first team home game weeks) at Maidstone United FC, Gallagher Stadium,  James Whatman Way, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1LQ.

Please come dressed in tracksuit or shorts and t-shirts with shin pads, astro trainers or football boots, but no metal studs please. Long knee high socks must be worn and please bring a couple of drinks. Report to the MUFC Spitfire Lounge on arrival for registration and for more information from Lorraine or Beryl.
