Join us to celebrate our 10th anniversary

2017 is a special year for the Licence to Kill? team as our innovative, educational production reaches its 10th anniversary.

Every year we invite school and college students aged between 16-19 years to a theatre near them to watch the award winning Licence to Kill? (L2K) performance - a gripping film, interspersed with personal testimonies from emergency services personnel and speakers who have suffered personal tragedies due to road crashes.

Since the first performance in 2007, over 65,000 students have seen this production throughout Kent and Medway and this November, with a total of eight theatre performances in Kent and in-house productions in Medway, we hope that approximately 10,000 students will see the production.

Young driver crashes are over-represented even though they only account for 10 per cent of the driver population. In Kent and Medway last year nearly 60 16-24 year old car occupants were killed or seriously injured. Our aim is to promote safer driving amongst young drivers in our region.

We would like to invite all educational professionals to attend our VIP event and experience the performance.

Please email roadsafetyexperience@kent.fire-uk.org to reserve spaces.
