RSPH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace

This course provides a fundamental knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work and managing and identifying risks in the workplace.

This qualification is designed to provide candidates with fundamental knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work and the procedures that are required to be in place for managing risks and dealing with accidents and ill health.

The emphasis is on making the individual safe for him or herself, safe for others and capable of identifying potential hazards.

Delegates are required to bring photographic ID in order to sit the examinations. We accept passport, driving licence and workplace photo ID.

Training objectives

  • To provide an understanding of roles and responsibilities for health, safety and welfare in the workplace
  • Understand how risk assessments contribute to health and safety
  • To understand how to identify and control the risks from common workplace hazards.
